About the Journal

1. Mission Statement

Drugs & Forensics Bulletin NPC is a peer-reviewed professional journal published by the National Anti-Drug Bureau of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service of the Police of the Czech Republic. Published quarterly, it features peer-reviewed contributions from all fields of criminalistics, forensic sciences, toxicology, addictology, and psychopharmacology. Non-reviewed popular articles should align in content with the journal's focus and address drug-related issues. The Bulletin aims to inform the professional public about the latest aspects and trends in drug-related crime, unify police procedures, and publish the most interesting closed cases from both the Czech Republic and abroad.

2. History and Development

Drugs & Forensics Bulletin of the National Anti-Drug Bureau was established in 1995 and is published 4 times a year. It has been a peer-reviewed professional journal since issue 01/2016, which was published on March 7, 2016. In 2016, the journal was officially granted the status of a peer-reviewed professional periodical; three years later, it was included in the international Norwegian index of academic journals, ERIH Plus, and since 2025, it has been indexed in the CEEOL database of scientific journals.
